Yoko is a Kindergarten teacher in Japan. She started playing piano at age four and stopped in high school. After taking MS at Indiana University, she has worked in the social science fields. From 2005 she took a piano amateur summer program at Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris and at Mannes College in New York City. From 2009, she participated in various international amateur piano competitions: Paris, Boston, Berlin, Texas, and Warsaw. In 2017 she played the Shumann Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 54, at Pazardjik in Bulgaria. In 2019 she played the Mozart Concerto No.11 at Bratislava in Slovenská Republika. She always enjoys playing the piano.
