I studied with Peter Mack, James Giles, Virginia Burkhart, Emilio del Rosario, and each of them studied with someone, back and back. Everyone here is placed at their birth year and coloured by whichever of my own teachers reaches them in the fewest steps. So the colour tells you which door I came in through, and the line weight thins as the connection gets more distant. Tap anyone to trace the chain back to me.

Reconstructed from teacher testimony, programme notes, and published biographies, with the older generations extended using the piano pedagogy lineage compiled by Dr. Archie Chen. Some links are far better documented than others and I haven't verified all of them yet. Corrections very welcome — theboringpianist@gmail.com.
