Max Sung is a physician who had, prior to his medical career, studied piano on a one-year fellowship at the University of the Arts in Berlin with Helmut Roloff. He continued his musical education with courses in chamber music performance with Leon Kirchner, Earl Kim and Patricia Zander at Harvard University. His interest in the piano was rekindled after studying with Pedro Carbone in New York.
