Judy wanted to become a Veterinarian, but women were discouraged in days of yore! Presently, she cares for 3 cats, a dog, and a pet horse. She has shown in the Hunter Division over fences for years, but now, just keeps pet horse. She has been participating in Amateur (non-professional) piano competitions since moving to Bend, Oregon from the Seattle area, and started a performance group in Bend which hosts Soirees at homes. She considers the preparation for competitions she has attended invaluable and hopes to continue as long as she is able. She says, “I have met so many wonderful friends over my past years of experiences, I could write a book!”
