Yoko Taruki is a Kindergarten teacher in Japan. She started playing piano at age four and stopped in high school. After getting an MS at Indiana University, she has worked in the social science fields. After 2017 she took piano summer program in Paris and in New York. After 2019 she participated in various international amateur piano competitions in Paris, Washington, Berlin, Texas, and Warsaw. In 2017 she played the Schumann Piano Concerto in Pazardjik. In 2019 she played the Mozart Concerto No.11 in Bratislava. In 2024 she played the Mozart concerto No. 23 in Vienna. In 2025 she was a semifinalist at WIPAC and Finalist at Osaka international Music Competition.
