Kim Chen is a former computer engineer who has returned to a serious focus on piano after two decades in the semiconductor industry. She studied with Irina Ginzburg, Findlay Cockrell, and Peter Rudzik, achieving First Class Honors for her Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 10 exam in 1997. Today, Kim finds musical fulfillment in playing solo piano and chamber music, as well as teaching/coaching motivated adult students and fellow amateur pianists. She enjoys an active social life that includes concerts and theater, exploring restaurants, and spending time with her husband and their three cats.
