Daniel was born and raised in Belize, and first learned piano from his mother. He became obsessed with the piano at 15 after hearing a performance of Rhapsody in Blue by his high school orchestra. He has maintained a love of piano while working as an engineer and manager in the power transmission and distribution industry. Daniel survived a terrible accident in 2017, severely damaging his entire left arm. He hopes to provide hope and motivation to other accident survivors with his recovery. He resides in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado with his husband, daughter, and beloved Bosendorfer piano.
