Chris Kokkinos was born in Nicosia, Cyprus. He began piano lessons at age 10. At 17 he earned piano certificates from The Royal Schools of Music (London, England) and Orpheon, and a piano diploma with distinction from the Orpheon Conservatory at age 18. He pursued Electrical Engineering and Music degrees at Cornell University, studying with Malcolm Bilson. In Boston, he had various teachers, and studied with Ya-Fei Chuang at NEC's Piano Interpretation & Performance Seminar. His current teacher is Tim McFarland. Chris lives in Acton with his wife. He is an Associate Vice President of Technology at Cotality.
