Chia Ying Lee is an AI Research Scientist by day and pianist by night. Having started piano at age 7 in Singapore, she moved to the US to study Music and Math at the University of Michigan, and continued lessons throughout her PhD studies in Applied Math at Brown. Following a decade-long hiatus to pursue her second passion of figure skating, Chia Ying returned to her first love after buying a new piano to furnish her new home. She has since been active in the amateur pianist community. Her fascination with motor learning theory inspired her blog, LevitatePianoImagery.com, where she transforms theory into practice at the piano.
